Review - Colin Blunstone – Baby Blue, Liverpool – 24/02/2009
Colin Blunstone produced a blinding performance at Liverpool’s Baby Blue. The band was tight, the music was electric and Colin had a strange and luring aura about him. His stage presence had everyone drawn in.
Blunstone presented soothing but rich vocals, lulling the audience into a musically induced haze. ‘Say You Don’t Mind’ and ‘What Becomes of the Broken Hearted were the biggest crowd pleasers of the night, however my personal favourite was, ‘She’s Not There’ and I couldn’t see a single person seated.
Although I would have preferred to see Colin move around the stage, I could hardly fault his play list. Even the guitarist blasted out solos that would cause even the likes of Jimmy Hendrix some embarrassment and I was simply in awe. Considering I’m not in the correct demographic for something like this, I’d say he did a pretty good job of getting my attention. I know a brilliant love performance when I see one. I can safely say fans of Colin Blunstone got more than their moneys worth on this tour!

My friends and I went to the Laughterhouse comedy show last Friday night, the seats were great as we had big comfy leather sofas and the show was fantastic! Can't remember the last time I laughed so much! Nearly wet myself! Fantastic!
How to I contact the blue bar to book a party of 11 females for the comedy night for Aprill 11th. I have two phone numbers that just ring out and the one on this site is no longer operating. I was about to book the Royal Court and have been told this venue is way better.
