I really recommend View 2, both for the exhibition and for all the other art around, some modern, a lot more conventional but little old fashioned. Lots of new takes on Liverpool themes. When I visited a few weeks ago the exhibition had some excellent interpretations of views of Britain - cartographic geographical pictures of the landscape, great fun. Plus I could get a bottle of Black Sheep bitter and you can even listen to gig nights too. The owner Ken Martin hosted an anti-war press conference by the Singh Twins back in 2005.
The History of Liverpool can be traced back to 1190 when the place was known as 'Liuerpul', possibly meaning a pool or creek with muddy water.
